Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Routine Cleaning and Maintenance
Regularly clean the seals around the door, detergent, and rinse aid dispensers with a damp cloth. It is recommended to run a 65°C wash program without dishes using detergent every three months to maintain the dishwasher's performance.
Filter Maintenance
Ensure the filters in the base of the washing compartment are cleaned regularly. This includes the coarse filter, microfilter, and flat filter. Remove and clean these filters thoroughly and check them from time to time as dirty filters can degrade washing results.
Use Appropriate Detergents
Only use detergents specifically designed for use in dishwashers. Using the correct amount of detergent helps in reducing pollution and ensures the machine operates efficiently.
Adjust Water Softener
Ensure the water softener is correctly adjusted to prevent limescale deposits on dishes. Check if it’s necessary to refill with special salt or rinse aid regularly.
Avoid Overloading
Load cutlery and dishes into the dishwasher without overloading to ensure optimal cleaning. Remove large leftovers before loading.
